Terms of Trade

The following terms of trade apply to tickets, season cards, etc. for events held by Skjern Handball.

I GENERAL TERMS

1. Access.

All tickets must be issued by official Skjern Handball sales points. Skjern Handball is not responsible for tickets and season cards purchased privately or through other unofficial sales points.

Access is only granted to Skjern Bank Arena and other official Skjern Handball events upon presentation of a valid ticket or season card.

Copying tickets and season cards for the purpose of use, resale, or other exploitation is prohibited and will result in a police report.

According to the law on resale of tickets for cultural and sports events, tickets and season cards cannot be resold for a higher amount than they were purchased for, and they cannot be resold for commercial purposes.

Guests at Skjern Handball's home games accept that they may be depicted in photos and in recordings of live images from the matches.

2. Matches.

Ticket holders, season card holders, etc. are at all times responsible for staying updated on match schedules, match times, and any match changes, and they are therefore encouraged to regularly stay informed via skjernhaandbold.dk, Skjern Handball's social media, and the official website of Danish Handball.

3. Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Newsletters.

Any purchase of a ticket, season card, etc. requires active acceptance of Skjern Handball's applicable privacy policy at the time of purchase, which can be found at skjernhaandbold.dk.

For those who, in connection with the purchase of a ticket, season card, etc., or later have given consent to receive newsletters from Skjern Handball, Skjern Handball will send ongoing information via email about products, special events, etc. until consent is possibly revoked. This information may pertain to technical challenges, payments, invitations, changes, etc. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder or season card holder to ensure that the email address is updated at all times.

II TICKETS

4. Acquisition and Use.

Tickets can be purchased at skjernhaandbold.dk or at the entrance to Skjern Bank Arena on match days. An administration fee is added to purchases made at the entrance.
Tickets must be brought either physically or digitally. If the ticket is not brought, a replacement ticket can be purchased at the entrance, provided there are available seats. This and the original ticket cannot be refunded.

The purchase agreement is subject to Danish law's general rules. The agreement only becomes binding for both parties when Skjern Handball has registered and received payment. According to ”Law on Certain Consumer Agreements § 17 stk. 2 jf. § 9 stk. 2 nr. 2a”, the purchase of tickets is not covered by the right of withdrawal. All prices at shop.skjernhaandbold.dk are inclusive of 25% Danish VAT. Changes in fees, sold-out items, etc. are reserved.

Tickets purchased via shop.skjernhaandbold.dk will be received via email as soon as possible. If the email is not received within 24 hours after the purchase, contact must be made with Skjern Handball.

Tickets are only accepted with a valid barcode/QR code, which means that the ticket must be readable by the scanner at the entrance.

Tickets issued for a specific category of people to which there are specific characteristics can only be acquired and used by persons who meet the specific characteristics. This applies to the ticket categories ”disabled seating” and ”unnumbered standing space for children (0-14 years)”.

Tickets only grant access to the space indicated on the ticket and, in the case of unnumbered seats, to the section indicated on the ticket. As stated in point 2.4, Skjern Handball reserves the right to direct the ticket holder to another seat.

Skjern Handball reserves the right to offer promotions, ongoing offers, and free events, etc. This does not entitle the ticket holder to raise claims for compensation, reimbursement, or any form of refund. The same applies if a third party resells access-giving products at a lower price or provides them for free.

5. Match Changes and Cancellations.

The ticket is only valid for the printed match.

If the match is moved entirely or partially to another time for any reason, the ticket is valid for the new match time, provided that the match still takes place in Skjern Bank Arena. Furthermore, the ticket holder may demand that a replacement ticket be issued for another match - this does not apply if the change is made due to a decision made by the referee, Danish Handball, or public authorities, e.g., due to weather conditions or circumstances that may pose a safety risk, including personal danger. If the ticket holder wishes to obtain a replacement ticket, notice must be given to Skjern Handball within 7 days after the announcement of the match change was published on skjernhaandbold.dk; otherwise, the right will lapse.

If the match is canceled entirely or partially, ticket holders can demand that a replacement ticket be issued for another match in the same season to be held in Skjern Bank Arena. This does not apply, however, if the cancellation is based on a decision made by the referee, Danish Handball, or public authorities, e.g., due to weather conditions or circumstances that may pose a safety risk, including personal danger.

6. Right of Withdrawal.

According to the Consumer Contracts Act § 18 stk. 2 nr. 12, there is no right of withdrawal for the purchase of tickets, and thus tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.

7. Loss.

In case of loss of a ticket, Skjern Handball should be contacted. If this happens in sufficient time before the match, Skjern Handball may block the ticket and resend a replacement ticket. Under all circumstances, Skjern Handball is not responsible for lost tickets.

III SEASON CARDS AND SUBSCRIPTIONS

8. Acquisition.

Season cards can be acquired (ii) as a subscription with monthly payment (“subscription”) or annual payment and can be purchased at skjernhaandbold.dk.

Season cards are digital and can be downloaded to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.

9. Use.

Season cards grant access to all Skjern Handball's home matches in the Men's League regular season, in the cup tournament, in the Men's League playoff group matches or relegation matches, as well as the DM medal matches (semifinals, finals, and bronze matches) in Skjern Bank Arena. The season card grants priority access to any matches in the European tournaments.

Skjern Handball is not responsible for the number or placement of matches. Season card holders cannot therefore raise claims for compensation, reimbursement, or any form of refund due to the number of matches or the placement of matches. The same applies if a match is entirely or partially moved, canceled, or played without spectators.

For any European matches held in Skjern Bank Arena, season card holders have priority access to the tickets. Priority access means that season card holders enrolled in the newsletter will receive a link enabling them to purchase tickets in a limited period before they are offered for general sale. Those season card holders who are not subscribed to the newsletter will not receive the link but can contact Skjern Handball to purchase the tickets themselves.

The season card must be presented. If this is not fulfilled, a replacement ticket can be purchased at the entrance if there are available seats, but no refunds can be made.

Season cards are only accepted with a valid QR code or NFC scan, meaning that the card must be readable at the entrance. A QR code or NFC scan is only accepted once per match/event, making it impossible to use the same card multiple times for the same event or copy a card.

Season cards only grant access to the space indicated on the card and, in the case of unnumbered seats, to the section indicated on the card. With reference to point 2.4, Skjern Handball reserves the right to direct season card holders and subscribers to other seats.

To secure priority access to their seat as a season card holder for the following season, the season card must be activated or released for at least 65% of the home matches during a full season.
The 65% attendance requirement can be met by scanning the season card on match days, converting the season card to a ticket and then scanning it, or releasing the season card at least 7 days - 168 hours - before the match starts.

There is no distinction as to whether a released seat is subsequently sold or not. Therefore, release before the deadline will count as attendance, regardless of whether the seat is sold or not, and releasing the seat after the deadline will not count as attendance - even if the seat is sold. It is the responsibility of the season card holder to ensure that the season card is scanned for the home matches. This also applies to season cards that are converted to tickets.

10. Loan.

Season cards are not personal. It is therefore allowed to lend the card, which in such case is done at the cardholder's own risk. It is not allowed to resell and/or transfer the right to the season card. If the season card holder does not wish and/or has the opportunity to retain their season card, Skjern Handball takes over the right to the season card seat. The person who pays for the season card(s) is considered the owner of the season card(s).

The cardholder is responsible for ensuring that no misuse occurs when the card is loaned, and that the card is returned to the cardholder after loan.

When lending, the cardholder is reminded of the provision in point 10.5. that the card can only be scanned once, and therefore will not be available for the cardholder themselves if it is loaned.

11. Lost Cards.

It is the cardholder's responsibility not to disclose information about login or anything else that can be used to gain access to the digital version of the card. If the cardholder suspects misuse, they should contact Skjern Handball. Under all circumstances, Skjern Handball is not responsible for the misuse of digital season cards.

12. Renewal.

The subscription is automatically renewed unless the cardholder cancels the subscription. Renewal is thus not seasonal.

13. Right of Withdrawal and Cancellation.

According to the Consumer Contracts Act § 18 stk. 2 nr. 12, there is no right of withdrawal for the purchase of season cards.

For subscriptions purchased via skjernhaandbold.dk, there is a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day the subscription is purchased. The right of withdrawal will lapse, according to the Consumer Contracts Act § 18 stk. 2 nr. 2, if the card has been used within the 14 days during which the right of withdrawal applies.

Skjern Handball reserves the right to cancel season cards and subscriptions if (i) the cardholder is banned from Skjern Bank Arena or (ii) the cardholder does not comply with the rules regarding copying and redistribution of season cards.

If a season card or subscription is canceled under point 14.3., the card will not be refunded.

Skjern Handball reserves the right to offer promotions, ongoing offers, and free events, etc. This does not entitle season card holders and subscribers to raise claims for compensation, reimbursement, or any form of refund. The same applies if a third party resells access-giving products at a lower price or provides them for free.

14. Special for Subscriptions.

The day the subscription (monthly subscription) is purchased, the first subscription payment is made. In the following months, the subscription payment is made on the same date (“payment date”). A payment month therefore runs from one payment date to the payment date in the following month. For subscriptions paid annually in one payment, 1/7 is paid.

On the payment date, the subscription payment is automatically deducted from the payment card linked to the subscription. If the deduction cannot be made, Skjern Handball reserves the right to block the subscription. In that case, the subscription will only be opened once the payment due has been received, and thus cannot be used in the period where the subscription is blocked. Skjern Handball further reserves the right to terminate the subscription and charge late fees and interest on the amount owed.

It is the subscriber's responsibility to ensure that a valid payment card is always linked to the subscription. Skjern Handball therefore reserves the right to charge for periods where an invalid payment card has been linked to the subscription.

Subscriptions have a binding period of 6 months from the day the subscription is purchased.

All subscriptions can be terminated with a notice period in the current payment month plus an additional month, but in such a way that termination can earliest take effect after the expiration of the binding period, cf. point 15.4. If the payment date is the 16th of each month, the notice period for a termination, for example, on October 25, will thus expire on December 16, provided that the binding period at that time has expired.

Termination can be done by sending an email to Skjern Handball.

The card is valid throughout the notice period and can be used by the subscriber. The subscriber is liable for payment throughout the validity period, which means until the expiration of the notice period.

IV CHANGES TO TERMS OF TRADE AND COMPLAINTS

15. Changes.

These terms of trade are updated regularly, and Skjern Handball makes it clear that significant changes may occur, including in connection with (i) changes in legislation, (ii) orders from Danish Handball, the Divisions Association, etc., (iii) orders from public authorities, (iv) commercial conditions, and (v) other circumstances that make it necessary to continue to offer tickets and subscriptions and to conduct handball matches.

Skjern Handball reserves the right to change prices in connection with the following:
1. Discount periods or discount agreements expire
2. Major investments that improve the user experience, including modernization of facilities
3. Market conditions or societal developments, including increased costs, inflation, legislation, security requirements, etc.
4. All changes will be announced at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
5. In the event of significant changes, subscribers may cancel their subscriptions with effect from the time the changes take effect. This applies regardless of any binding period.

16. Complaints

There is an opportunity to complain to Skjern Handball by sending an email to sascha@skjernhaandbold.dk. There is also the possibility to complain to the Mediation Team for Consumer Complaints/Consumer Complaints Board – see more at forbrug.dk.

The EU Commission's online complaint portal can also be used when submitting a complaint, which is particularly relevant if the complainant is a consumer residing in another EU country.

Any potential dispute between Skjern Handball and the customer is resolved under Danish law.

The terms of trade are updated and valid from October 3, 2018, at 12:00 and updated in June 2026.

Sincerely, Skjern Handball.
