Skjern Handball did not get any points from Saturday's playoff match in northern Jutland.
After 45–50 tight minutes the hosts pulled away, and won unnecessarily big by the score 32-23.
Sixteen minutes from the end the Greens were otherwise very much in the game, and had the opportunity to reduce it to 20-19. But in the following six-minute period things went wrong.
Five technical errors and three missed chances on Niklas Landin - and then the race was over.
Mads Mensah and Jon Lindenchrone shared top-scorer honors with six goals each.
The next task for the Skjern team is on Saturday, when Fredericia HK awaits away. The match is played at 18:00 and will be shown live on TV2 Sport.
