Draw in new big drama

By Nicklas Thygesen

It was almost a repeat of last round's home game against TMS Ringsted when Kasper Søndergaard's side met SAH on Wednesday evening.

The Skjern side was largely in the lead for most of the match, but in the final ten minutes of the game it once again became a dramatic affair.

The West Jutlanders failed to maintain momentum, while the comeback team began to sneak back in to a greater extent — exemplified by two missed penalties in the last seven minutes.

Despite the comebacks, Christoffer Bonde kept hope of two points alive when with his tenth save he denied the shot from Emil Lærke — and then Søndergaard's troops had 30 seconds to secure the win.

Unfortunately Marcus Midtgaard's attempt was saved, resulting in a new draw with the score 30-30.

On Saturday awaits the final match of the regular season when Nordsjælland Håndbold visits Skjern Bank Arena.
