After Saturday's victory over Fredericia HK there was both relief and optimism from the 11-goal scorer, Marcus Midtgaard.
– There is no doubt that we had a knife to our throats. It would have looked extremely bad if we hadn't got a win on Saturday, so it is a huge relief – and a great motivating factor heading into the last three group matches.
– For our part it was a game with lots of speed and many good crosses. At the same time we pressed in the counter phase in the periods where we had breathing space, and we must repeat that on Saturday, says Midtgaard.
The next task awaits against Aalborg Handball, who top the playoff group with six points.
– It will be a tough game. We played 40–45 good minutes in Aalborg last time, but collapsed at the end. That is something we need to look at. But a win like on Saturday gives belief in things, and we are really looking forward to chasing revenge on Saturday in Skjern Bank Arena, says Marcus Midtgaard.
