Friday evening awaits another important task for Skjern Handball, when TMS Ringsted visits Skjern Bank Arena. The match starts at 6:30 PM, and once again there is a prospect of an arena filled with Skjern fans in the stands.
For Joaquim Nazaré, Friday's match is about building on the things that worked in the most recent game against Bjerringbro-Silkeborg Handball – while also adding to the attacking play.
– In the match against BSH we actually stood well in defense, but our attacking play limped, and we did not take advantage of our chances. We know we can do better, and we look forward to showing that on Friday.
– We work hard in training, and I also hope that shows on the court. At the same time we know that Skjern Bank Arena will once again be full. That is something you must never take for granted – and it is a pleasure every time to play in front of so many people, says the Portuguese.
Friday's match will also have great significance in the battle for positions at the top of the table in the regular season.
– Nazaré before Ringsted: Two hugely important points at stake. We still believe that we can get into the top four in the regular season, so we can have a good starting point going into the playoffs, says Joaquim Nazaré.
