The dream of a fifth consecutive Danish Championship semifinal is alive.
Skjern Handball picked up the first two points in the playoff group on Saturday afternoon, as the West Jutlanders for the third time this season defeated Fredericia HK.
An exciting contest with Kasper Søndergaard's troops leading virtually from start to finish.
Not least thanks to two formidable performances from Jon Lindenchrone and Marcus Midtgaard, who were credited with a combined 23 goals - out of Skjern's total of 34 goals.
The former became the match winner when he - following a pass from Emil Bergholt - decided the game from the penalty spot 12 seconds before time.
The victory means that Skjern remains very much alive in the playoff group.
Next Saturday promises a repeat of last season's Danish Championship final, when Aalborg Handball visits Skjern Bank Arena.
