It is starting to come to a head for Skjern Håndbold if their dream of a fifth consecutive Danish Championship semi-final is to become a reality.
– It is close to being last call for us. We can still decide our fate ourselves when it comes to qualifying for the semi-finals again this year, but it requires that we soon get points on the board, says Emil Bergholt.
The team has in recent times been involved in a number of tight contests where the margins have not fallen in Skjern’s favor.
– We have played an enormous number of close matches recently, where we have lacked the final sharpness and ruthlessness – and that must not be repeated tomorrow.
The next task awaits Saturday afternoon away against Fredericia, who come into the match with confidence and good results behind them.
– Fredericia are in a really good phase, and we know that it is always a difficult place to play. So we have our plans for tomorrow, but I firmly believe that we can repeat the success from last time in Fredericia and take the two points, says Emil Bergholt.
