After 30 years of employment at Dejbjerglund Efterskole — including 20 years as principal — Kjeld Christiansen steps down as of 1 April 2026.
Although his tenure as principal ends, his commitment to working with young people continues. From summer 2026, Kjeld Christiansen will be affiliated with Skjern Håndbold and the Talent Academy Ringkøbing-Skjern as a project developer.
Here Kjeld Christiansen will be involved in various project tasks at TARS and in connection with Magneten — the upcoming academy.
After two decades with young people at the center and a strong, long-standing collaboration with Skjern Håndbold alongside that, Kjeld Christiansen especially sees great potential in the interaction between school, elite sports and the physical facilities that the construction of the talent academy Magneten will provide.
“I have worked with young people at the efterskole in collaboration with Skjern Håndbold for more than 20 years. I now look forward to being part of the efforts to further develop a good and safe environment for the young talents, where wellbeing, cooperation and the right conditions go hand in hand,” says Kjeld Christiansen.
