Serious injury to Skjern profile

Jakob Rasmussen has played his last match in the green jersey this time.

The Skjern playmaker left early in Saturday's match, and examinations have since shown that he tore his Achilles tendon. Thus he faces a longer period away from the handball court.

– It is the worst imaginable way to end so many good years at Skjern Handball. It is sad and really hard right now, because I had been looking forward to an exciting playoff with the dream of finishing off with another set of medals. It probably hasn’t fully sunk in yet that I pulled the green jersey over my head for the last time, says Jakob Rasmussen.

Sports director Thomas Klitgaard states:

 – We all feel for Jakob right now, and it hurts even more to see him end his time at the club in this way. It feels unfair, but we will do everything we can to support Jakob in the time to come, says Thomas Klitgaard.
