Skjern blacksmith ruined everything in Silkeborg

By Nicklas Thygesen

It looked for a long time as if Skjern would leave Silkeborg with two points. Or at least one.

But four poor final minutes - where the West Jutlanders lost 4-1 - meant that Kasper Søndergaard's side walked away empty-handed from round 23 of the Bambuni Men's League.

A big disappointment based on the course of the match, where Skjern for almost the entire game was in control, even though the play was not brilliant.

On several occasions Skjern had the chance to put themselves decisively ahead, but quality was seriously lacking in front of goal.

Therefore the home team and especially Mads Svane were needlessly invited back into the game again and again, and in the final minute of the match the latter was the smartest with a goal and an assist.

Skjern lost 30-28. Jakob Rasmussen was top scorer with ten goals.

The next task for the green ones is on Friday, when TMS Ringsted visits Skjern Bank Arena. Buy your ticket HERE.
