Oscar Carlén got the desired start as head coach at Skjern Håndbold.
On Friday evening the West Jutlanders qualified for the next round of the cup competition after a comfortable victory over the 1st division club from TM Tønder.
A strong defense helped the green-and-blue side control the match from start to finish — and they were at no point behind in the 31-25 win.
Mads Mensah, Marcus Midtgaard and Bjarke Christensen shared top-scorer honors with four goals each.
The draw for the round of 16 is on Tuesday — this will take place in connection with Skjern’s first match in the Bambuni Men's League away against GOG.
