Sixth home win in a row

By Nicklas Thygesen

Skjern remains at the absolute top of the Bambuni Men's League.

On Wednesday evening Kasper Søndergaard's team won for the sixth time in a row at Skjern Bank Arena, as the promoted side from HØJ Elite were defeated 27-23.

Emil Bergholt, Bjarke Christensen and Jon Lindenchrone were all out with injuries, and they could watch their teammates pull decisively away after the break.

Marius Nørsøller, who has just extended his contract until 2028, extended the lead to 19-13 after 40 minutes – the biggest lead of the match – and that advantage became too much for the visitors, who found it extremely difficult to get past Christoffer Bonde in the Skjern goal.

Skjern won comfortably 27-23, and thus occupy a joint third place with 25 points.

Joaquim Nazaré was top scorer with six goals.
