The waiting period is almost over.
The first match of the year awaits when Skjern Håndbold on Saturday evening will be in action at one of the toughest away venues in Denmark.
For Christoffer Bonde it will be an important measure of where the team stands after a preseason with both good answers and a few unknowns.
– It is the first match of the year, and it will be a tough contest. Fredericia is a good team, and it is one of the toughest away venues in Denmark. We are eager to see where we stand. We have had a couple of good training matches, but there are also a few question marks – especially around the line, where Bergholt is out, and Buric is still not completely back to full strength, says Bonde.
– On the other hand, it has looked really good with Bjergfelt and Wurtz in the central defense. It will just be wonderful to get started again. We have been looking forward to it for a long time, and now we are just excited to get out and play. We have to run with them for 60 minutes, says Christoffer Bonde.
The match starts tomorrow at 20:00 in Fredericia.
The match is shown live on TV2 Sport X.
