Skjern led for the first 48 minutes of the match, before the hosts from Aalborg pulled away near the end in the preseason's fourth friendly.
The West Jutlanders were without Jon Lindenchrone, who, as is known, is out with a finger injury, while Jacob Holm unfortunately also had to leave during the first half. We will update as soon as we know more about Holm's injury situation.
The responsibility fell especially on the shoulders of Axel Månsson, who played a fine, fine game with seven goals and a sea of assists.
But when things had to be decided in the closing stages, the West Jutlanders were too wasteful - and therefore Aalborg won 31-28 after 14-14 at halftime.
The next and final friendly awaits on Tuesday, when the French champions from PSG visit Skjern Bank Arena for the RAH Fiber Cup.
