Two very different halves — but with a consistently in-form Kristian Zetterlund.
Those were the headlines Friday evening, when René Rasmussen celebrated his contract extension with the fifth home ground victory in a row.
For there was not much that went right for the green-clad side in the first half. The home team could thank Kristian Zetterlund that the halftime deficit to the visitors was only 11-12 at the break.
Several big saves — and 16 in the whole match — were produced by the Swedish keeper, who played the full 60 minutes in the Skjern goal.
After the break the efficiency and sharpness in front of goal was completely different. Zetterlund received good help from an excellent and very aggressive Skjern defence, while Axel Månsson directed the troops in the most competent manner in the attack.
10-15 really strong minutes early after the break — and then the gap was closed.
Skjern won convincingly — and for the fifth time in a row in Skjern Bank Arena — 32-24 in front of 2,752 spectators at Skjern Bank Arena.
