DM-silver to Skjern

By Nicklas Thygesen

The DM silver medals go to Skjern Handball.

In the second DM final, the guests and the defending champions from Aalborg came out on top. The sold-out crowd in Skjern Bank Arena created a fantastic atmosphere for the match, which started with a West Jutland team in momentum.

But gradually, the Northerners got better into the match and turned the tide with five goals in a row.

Unfortunately, the lead became too large, although Mathias Madsen's troops had several opportunities to equalize at the end of the second half. But the sharpness was missing in the decisive sequences, which is why the DM gold ended up in the hands of Aalborg Handball for the second year in a row, winning 29-26.

René Rasmussen and Lasse Mikkelsen shared the top scorer honor with five goals.
