On Friday evening the season's first significant match awaits, when the West Jutlanders meet TM Tønder in the cup competition.
Kickoff is at 7:30 PM in Klosterhallen in Løgumkloster, where the 1st division team TM Tønder awaits.
The Skjern squad arrives for the cup match after a good start with several fine performances in the friendlies – most recently with the victory over Paris Saint-Germain in Skjern Bank Arena.
“We have had some good training matches and a good training period, and I think we are in a good place. We are constantly getting to know each other better, and many deliver at a high level,” says Jonathan Würtz.
Würtz is pleased with the development in play and the relationships on the court, but at the same time emphasizes that Friday will be a completely different task, where the green-and-blues must be ready from the first whistle.
“The cooperation between the goalkeepers and the defense works well, and the same applies to the attack. We are getting to know each other better, and many deliver at a high level.”
“It’s about the mentality and being ready from the start. We must come with everything we have. It will be wild down there, and we know that Tønder will bring everything,” says the defender.
