Skjern Handball and HØJ Elite have agreed on a loan deal that means Marius Nørsøller will play for the 1st division club in the coming season.
The young back player will then return to Skjern Handball, where he is under contract until the summer of 2028.
Sporting director Thomas Klitgaard sees the loan as an important step in Nørsøller’s continued development.
– We still strongly believe that Marius Nørsøller can have a major role in the green jersey. But considering the competition situation in the backcourt in the coming season, we have, in consultation with Marius, assessed that the most important thing for his development is that he gets continuous playing minutes.
– Therefore we are very pleased that Marius will play at HØJ in the coming season. It is a good place for him, where he will hopefully get lots of responsibility and valuable experience at senior level before he returns to Skjern next summer. We will of course follow Marius closely throughout the season and look forward to having him back in the green jersey, says Thomas Klitgaard.
Marius Nørsøller can make his official debut for HØJ Elite when the club opens the season on August 29.
