The season's first two points are in the bag.
On Saturday afternoon Oscar Carlén's troops secured a convincing victory when the West Jutlanders defeated TMS Ringsted by a full 40-30.
After a very even first half, during which the hosts were ahead by three goals at times, the Skjern team got better control of things approaching the break.
It went even better when the referee pair blew for the restart after 15 minutes of rest.
Svend Rughave found the goal better, while the back trio Midtgaard, Månsson and Bjergfelt enjoyed themselves in the attack.
26 goals in total from the three back players was more than enough to secure the win, which also featured a league debut for Samuel Burka from the Talent Academy in the absence of the injured René Rasmussen.
Marcus Midtgaard was top scorer with 11 goals in the victory.
Next week two home matches await at Skjern Bank Arena - first Wednesday against Mors-Thy Handball before Aalborg Handball visit exactly one week later.
