Skjern finished with a secure victory

By Kristian Bro

In front of 2,764 spectators the Greens rounded off the season in the best way, when Fredericia HK was defeated in the sixth round of the playoffs.

Sportingly both teams were beforehand out of the race for semifinal places, but there was still good intensity in the match, which Kasper Søndergaard's side controlled from start to finish.

The West Jutlanders won convincingly 37-31 after 19-16 at halftime with Joaquim Nazaré as top scorer with eight goals.

The match was also the last of its kind in the career of Morten Vium, who in his final game was credited with two goals, and there was also a farewell to head coach Kasper Søndergaard, Emil Bergholt, Christoffer Bonde and Jakob Rasmussen, who have all put a temporary full stop to their time in the green jersey.
