After a shaky spell in the first half with many missed chances, Oscar Carléns side increased the tempo after the break, when HC Midtjylland was the third opponent of the warm-up on Saturday afternoon.
The green-and-blue had Joachim Møller on the team sheet for the first time since arriving at the club. The line player had missed the two previous friendlies due to a minor muscle fiber injury, and he delivered in a big way in his unofficial debut.
As mentioned, the hosts took full advantage of Skjern's lack of efficiency in front of goal, and could therefore go into the break leading 16-13.
In the second half the match picture changed significantly, with the pace turned up considerably — as did the efficiency in front of goal.
Skjern won for the second time in the warm-up - out of three possible - against HC Midtjylland with 35-26.
