The Skjern captain was overwhelmingly happy after the triumph in Svendborg, which he expressed in the following words:
- It's so big. It's huge for Skjern city, for the club, the fans, and the sponsors. It's a tremendous achievement, and I actually don't think people understand how big it really is, says Emil Bergholt, who will lead with the captain's armband in the west Jutlanders' sixth DM final in history.
- It's been a roller coaster this season, but we have shown so much character and class. I am so happy and so thrilled about this, that you can't even comprehend it. Now we are chasing the third DM gold, and we hope the city is with us, says the captain.
