French stars visit Skjern: PSG ready for RAH Fiber Cup

Handball fans in West Jutland can expect an international top experience when the newly crowned French champions from Paris Saint-Germain visit Skjern Bank Arena for the second edition of the RAH Fiber Cup.

On Tuesday, August 18, Skjern Bank Arena will host a star-studded preseason match when one of Europe’s biggest clubs comes to town to test their form against Skjern Håndbold ahead of the coming season.

The visit from Paris will also be a welcome reunion with two familiar faces in green surroundings. Former Skjern players Noah Gaudin and Henrik Møllgaard are returning to Skjern — this time as opponents in the PSG jersey.

The RAH Fiber Cup was launched last year as a new tradition in Skjern Håndbold’s preseason, and the level of ambition has been raised markedly in the second edition with the visit from the French powerhouse club.

- That it has been possible to bring Paris Saint-Germain to Skjern for the RAH Fiber Cup 2026 says something about the level Skjern Håndbold represents — and about the strength that lies in good collaborations. For us at RAH Fiber the sponsorship is not only about visibility but about being an active part of the local community we deliver fiber to every day.

- After the success of the RAH Fiber Cup last year, we can see there is great interest in fiber. Therefore, this year before the match you can also meet some of the providers who deliver internet and TV on RAH’s fiber network. We are very much looking forward to a day focused on handball, cooperation, and the lightning-fast fiber connection, says Søren Mortensen, who is director at RAH Fiber.

At Skjern Håndbold they look forward to another edition of the RAH Fiber Cup — and to giving the fans an experience beyond the ordinary.

- Last year we laid the foundation for the RAH Fiber Cup, and this year we take another step. Paris Saint-Germain is one of the biggest names in international handball, and at the same time we get a special reunion with both Noah Gaudin and Henrik Møllgaard. It will be a handball celebration where we can give an extra experience to our partners and season ticket holders — and at the same time kick off an exciting new season, says Sascha Laulund, event manager at Skjern Håndbold.

Ticket sales for the RAH Fiber Cup open on June 26.
