He got full playing time on the right wing of the West Jutlanders in the absence of the illness-stricken René Rasmussen in Sunday’s away match against Aalborg Handball.
Three goals from four attempts were the yield from Jonathan Sørensen's left hand, who despite the defeat was relieved over the secured DM semifinal.
- It became a bit of a messy game for us, where we actually had the chances to earn points. We fought with everything we had - and for my part, it was nice to get minutes in my legs. It's about seizing the opportunity when it is there, and I think I did that.
- But the game of course bore the mark that we were already guaranteed a semifinal spot before the match. It's super cool and a great relief, which we are really looking forward to, says Jonathan Sørensen.
