The fund decided: Skjern finishes in 2nd place

By Kristian Bro

A fantastic news ticked in to the Skjern camp just before kick-off in Aalborg.

The semifinal spot was secured - thanks to SAH's victory over Mors - and thus the West Jutlanders are ready for the DM semifinals for the fourth year in a row.

This set the stage for a direct duel for first place in the group, which the hosts from Aalborg ran with.

After 60 tight minutes, where the greens definitely had their chances, the North Jutlanders won 30-27 after 14-14 at halftime.

Christoffer Bonde was strong in goal with 16 saves, while Noah Gaudin became the top scorer with seven goals.

The result means that Skjern Handball meets GOG in the DM semifinals.

The first match is in a week - on May 25 in Svendborg, while the return match in Skjern Bank Arena is played on Wednesday, May 28.

The ticket sales for the home game starts on Tuesday at 10:00 AM.
