Skjern hires Serbian national team player

Simo Sijan joins Skjern Handball with immediate effect.

The 20-year-old back player, who earlier this month made his debut for the Serbian national team, has been brought to Skjern Handball on a loan agreement valid for the rest of the season.

- Simo is a talented and exciting back player whom we have been following for a longer period - and most recently had in training last week. He is very direct in his play, which we look forward to benefiting from - just as his arrival will bring new energy to the squad, says sports director Thomas Klitgaard.

The Serbian back player looks forward to becoming part of the West Jutland club, which he considers a great opportunity.

- Skjern is a great club in Denmark that I have followed since Tibor Ivanisevic was in the club. It is a huge opportunity for me, where I have to show myself, while together we should achieve good results. I look forward to starting a new chapter in Skjern, says Simo Sijan, who is the current captain of the Serbian youth national team.

Simo Sijan may make his official debut for the greens when the Men's League kicks off again on February 8 away against GOG.
