There were no holds barred from Jonathan Würtz after Sunday’s defeat away to Nordsjælland Håndbold.
For the second time in just four days Skjern Håndbold faced Nordsjælland, but unlike the cup match earlier in the week they were this time unable to turn the tie around.
– It is embarrassing. We are simply not up to the task, and we are not keeping the agreements we have made. We fall behind in roughly the same way as on Wednesday, and thereby give ourselves a really difficult start to the match, says Jonathan Würtz.
Skjern had worked their way back into the game after the break and again created suspense about the result. But when the match had to be decided, the visitors reverted to the mistakes that had marked the poor start.
– We actually come back well in the second half, but then we end up again in some bad situations. It is of course enormously frustrating when we have used so much energy to come back.
The defeat must now be processed before Skjern on Saturday again go away, when KIF Kolding await.
– We must use all the anger and frustration we are feeling right now constructively and take it into the work ahead of Kolding. There must be a reaction from us next weekend, concludes Würtz.
