Skjern Handball has found the replacement for Tim Winkler, who will end his active career this summer.
Christoffer Bonde will form a partnership with Swedish Kristian Zetterlund in the next two seasons.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper currently plays for Swedish HK Malmö, where Zetterlund was named Player of the Month in the league this month.
- The choice fell on Skjern because the club provides me with really good conditions to continue my development as a player and a person. At the same time, it was an enticing offer, as Skjern has competed for medals in recent years and has a great history in Europe. It is a professional club with high ambitions that match my own, says Kristian Zetterlund.
Sports director Thomas Klitgaard is excited about the addition of the Swedish goalkeeper.
- Kristian has played at a high level this season for Malmö with a save percentage of 33, and he also has the second-highest MEP among all goalkeepers in the Swedish league. So we are not second in doubt that Kristian will form a really strong duo with Christoffer Bonde for us in the coming two seasons, says Thomas Klitgaard.
