Goal King, spectator party and the fence Bonde

A great and long season has come to an end with the result being the DM silver medal.

We look back at the recently concluded season in the Men's League with the most noteworthy facts, which you can read below.

1)
Noah Gaudin made history. The Frenchman, with his 216 clean goals (scoring without penalty throws), has overtaken Jacob Holm - and is now the player in Danish Men's League history with the most clean goals in one single season.

2)
The West Jutlanders scored a total of 1119 goals in the Men's League. The three back players, Noah Gaudin, Jakob Rasmussen, and Joaquim Nazaré, accounted for a total of 47 percent of the goals. To be exact, the three back players were credited with 533 goals. 

3)
Noah Gaudin was the standout in the Skjern offense. Not only with the most scored goals, but the Frenchman also provided the second most assists of anyone in the Men's League with 145 assists. Only surpassed by Tobias Grøndahl from GOG, who also played two more matches than Gaudin throughout the season.

Jakob Rasmussen took 2nd place in UMEP (youth MEP) - and was only surpassed by Hjalte Lykke from GOG.

Experienced Lasse Mikkelsen, who has now retired from his active handball career, ended up in fifth place for the highest scoring percentage on penalty throws. 62 goals on 78 attempts resulted in a scoring percentage of 79.5.

1340 times the ball has been sent towards Christoffer Bondes' goal. The Skjern keeper is by far the goalkeeper in the league with the most saves (417 saves) and also the keeper who has faced the most shots.

Record-high average attendance!
55,317 spectators found their way to Skjern Bank Arena during the season - an average of 2963 spectators per game, which is the highest average ever in Skjern Handball's history. This high turnout also contributed to guest number 800,000 in Skjern Bank Arena's history being reached during the season. Skjern Bank Arena is in 2nd place among the most visited arenas in the Men's League - only surpassed by Aalborg Handball, which has an impressive average of 5145 spectators per game.

8)
Skjern Handball earned points against 11 out of 13 teams in the Men's League. It was only Bjerringbro-Silkeborg and Fredericia HK that Mathias Madsen's troops failed to earn points against this season. 

9)
Six times it ended in a draw for the greens this season. This is the highest number of draws in over 10 years.
